Where is the Event Taking Place?

The Vortex Event will take place at Oren Klaff's Pitch Anything studio:

What is the Agenda?

Hi Everyone, this is the idea we have for the agenda of the Vortex Event. Times may vary slightly depending on the flow and rhythm of participation… (Times are in PDT)

 

Day 1:
8:00-8:45 am Checkin and seating

9-10:30 am – Opening Keynote 

10:30 – 11 am – Coffee Break 1
11 am – 11:15 am Training Instructions, Pre-Wired Ideas

11:15 – 11:45 am – Pre-Wired Ideas Narrative Work (Coaching Breakout sessions)

11:45 am – 12:15 pm – Stage Work on Pre-Wired Ideas Narrative

12:15- 1 pm – Stage Work on Pre-Wired Ideas Performance

 

1:00 pm – Lunch Break (90 min)

2:30 pm – 3 pm Pre-Wired Ideas Control Work (Coaching Breakout sessions)

3 pm – 4 pm- Stage Work on Pre-Wired Ideas Control

 

Day 2:

8:30-9 am Seating

What are the Best ways to travel from San Diego Airport to Carlsbad

You can see all the information you need on San Diego International Airport's page.

If you are an UBER fan, then for $50-$60 you can get to the event venue or the hotel you choose to stay at, as the recommendations we are giving you are all very close and in the same area, so prices are very similar.

What are the Best ways to travel from LAX Airport to Carlsbad

You can get all the information you need on the LAX International Airport‘s page.

If you are an UBER fan, a ride to Carlsbad would cost around $130.

There is also the option of renting out a car through the TURO app, to get a cheaper deal.

You can also take the Amtrak from the Los Angeles Union Station to Oceanside, CA for a rate of $28-$42.

What should I wear to the event?

You will be talking business in a relaxed environment, so BUSINESS CASUAL seems appropriate. 

 

 

 

How should I prepare for the Vortex Event?

Being a part of Oren's Vortex events means you will work on your own material, with his help. If you really want to take something valuable out of this experience, make sure you read Oren's Flip the Script and focus on the following:

1. Status alignment. 

2. Instill certainty in the other party. 

3. Explain your big idea. 
1). Why do I care?
2). What's in it for me?
3). Why you?

4. Make the buyer feel safe. 

5. Leverage their natural pessimism.
