Funny how NASDAQ is down 25% from its highs,
…. but I have more INVESTORS than I know what to do with.
Can I give you a few ….?
This happens to me all the time because I start to panic right before I take a deal to market, so I over-prepare, over-work myself, and then end up over-subscribed:
For example, I just went to market for $15mil and ended up – $46mil.
That's $31 million above target.
This happens because of the way I reach out to investors …
- The way I heat them up …
- The way I get them excited about my deal …
It creates a desire for my specific offering. Nothing else.
Sadly I cannot just pass these investors on to my friends who are struggling to raise money.
Are you surprised though?
– that you can't just swap investors from my deal over to yours?
Don't worry.
We can find you a totally new pipeline of investors that love YOUR company for what it is.
You can heat those investors up to BUYING TEMPERATURE and in the process get the capital you need to grow your company.
This is a game I love to play.
And like every high-stakes game, there are rules. And if you don’t know the rules, you’ll never be able to win it.
How do I know all this stuff?
From my own hard-won experience which I wrote about in Pitch Anything and Flip the Script.
You can learn these rules, play the game well, and win investor attention and dollars.
Before we talk about specific rules for you to follow, you need a solid starting point:
WELCOME TO COLD EMAIL OUTREACH.
If you can't do cold outreach well, then you just don't have enough investors to talk to.
If you’re consistently getting rejected and ignored by email,
… that tells me there’s something wrong with your email outreach process.
The good news is, I can review your cold email outreach – including the emails you’re sending – and tell you exactly what you’re doing wrong.
One of the most common mistakes I see people make is giving out LOW STATUS signals:
- wordy email
- with attachment
- unrealistic call to action
- fake social connection
- overly friendly tone
- a tinge of neediness
Low-Status signals are so crucial because Investors read emails BACKWARDS from how you think.
They tend to respond to emails based on who it’s from and not the content in them.
So, for example, if you're going after Mr. Big at Big Time Capital Partners, you better have some damn good email game and high social status.
Without the right high-status email game, better for you to go after associates or analysts, they’ll be excited someone like you emailed, and will likely respond.
But then again, talking to associates and analysts does you NO GOOD.
That’s how much STATUS affects the results you get from cold email outreach.
Now, this is just one of the rules of cold email I’ve developed over 20 years of pitching deals.
But there’s a lot more I want to teach you about cold outreach, which is why I've decided to dedicate Thursday, July 13th – 14th to an intensive workshop:
VORTEX: COLD OUTREACH
If you spend just 2 days with me, I’ll show you exactly how to land 5-to-10 new investor meetings every single week.
These meetings could quickly turn into millions of dollars in capital for your deal.
2-days at my new headquarters.
Are you in? Let's get after it.
I don’t know when I’ll be teaching this material again, so I strongly encourage you to reserve your seat now as we’re limiting this event to just 75 people.
